Akademi Tari RiverGrass Dance Theatre had organized a Southeast Asia Dance Programme in the beginning year of 2001. Featuring the Artistic Director, President and Founder of Southeast Asia Dance Troupe - Surianty Liu Chun Wai, to conduct the master classes. Surianty had taught two dances for external workshop, Bakya (Philippines folk dance), Joget Lengkang-kangkung (Indonesian folk dance), and a dance for internal workshop of selected students, Dikir Puteri (Kelantan folk dance).
